Managed re-roofing
Berkeley Lake Roof Replacement, Managed Start to Finish
A clear plan, a set schedule and a site that gets cleaned up every single workday.
How a Re-Roof Project Runs
Putting a new roof on a house is a construction job staged directly over your living room, so we treat it with the same planning a builder brings to any site. The walk-around at inspection covers two things. One is the roof: shingles, metal, pipe boots, gutters and the attic, all photographed. The other is logistics: where our trailer can park without boxing in your car, which plantings sit below the drip line, where the condenser unit and patio set are, and how the yard slopes. Those notes become a staging sheet. Your quote then itemizes materials, amounts, labor and a fixed charge per replaced sheet of decking, which locks the budget before we lock the start date. On the first morning, the crew lead covers beds and the lower walls, moves loose items out of the drop zone and starts tearing off one section at a time, with old shingles going straight from the roof into the trailer. Spongy wood is cut out and renewed. Then the new system goes down in order: synthetic felt, self-sealing membrane in valleys and at pipes, fresh edge metal and wall flashing, a balanced vent setup and shingles fastened to the maker's printed directions. Before the crew leaves each day, loose debris is bagged and a magnet passes over the work zone. On the final day the whole lot is swept again, every scrap is hauled out and we walk the finished roof together.
